This is Shaylee and her Preschool teacher Mrs. Reed. Shaylee absolutely loves her and is so sad school will be over tomorrow. I could have not asked for a better teacher for my Shaylee. She was so sweet and loving but yet strict and that is what Shaylee needs. She teared up today thinking about not having Mrs. Reed as a teacher. Don't we all wish we could always have these kinds of teachers for our children.

Just Plain Fun
Shaylee and Blake are always building forts and playing outside. Blake told me he found the best glove ever-Daddy's church sock. They had to build a fort for the cacoon they found and make a bed for the butterfly that will be coming out in "62 weeks" as Shaylee put it. We don't quite understand the concept of days, weeks, or even tomorrow. Daniel told Shaylee she would loose a tooth in 100 days, so everyday she has to ask him how many days she has left. She just knows it is coming soon. I don't know what Dad is going to do when the tooth doesn't come out on the 100th day.

CTR!!!
As you can guess we have been working on choosing the right in our home. I have been going head to head with Shaylee lately and I don't know why. Then all of a sudden something happened. Miss Shaylee was the best child a mother could ever ask for. We went grocery shopping and she is helping. Not just kind of helping I mean to tell you she was a fabulous helper. She helped carry all the groceries in, helped put them away, then disposed of the trash. I looked at Daniel and I said we better do some serious praising!! Yes, we did. We called every grandparent letting them know what an amazing daughter we have and the whole time she was beeming from ear to ear. When telling the grandparents, if I would leave anything out Shaylee was quit to remind me all the good things she had done. I decided to treat her to Sonic while the other kiddos were taking a nap. She loved having a date with mom. In the car she said, Mom it is hard work being good. I said yes but it will get easier. She said, I feel kind of funny inside. I said, that is the spirit telling you that you are making good choices. Her eyes lit up and she said, wow that does feel good to CTR. She said, Mom I might not be good all the time, it is hard work. I said everyone makes mistakes but as long as we are trying. The next day at church she got up in Primary and told them all to choose the right because she did and she felt the "holy spirit" and it feels so good. She was so proud of CTR and i think we all should feel the same way as my little girl. CTR but it is hard work!!

Hooray it is finally warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's just say we are taking advantage of every ounce of daylight we have to play outside. My children are loving it and it is so nice not to have to bundle up to go outside. The kiddos love the play gym and Emma can't get enough of her new swing. Shaylee loves pushing her so high she almost falls out. Emma thinks it is funny but her mother does not. Blake is the typical boy, he always finds the mud to play in. He never can stay clean and is always finding treasures: rocks, leaves, glass, sticks, anything that doesn't move. It's Shaylee who is collecting the worms, dead fish (after they are caught) and bugs. She loves those slimy things. Needless to say we are enjoying the weather and having a blast.

Sweeper or vacuum
Emma is everywhere the food is. It doesn't matter if it is on the floor, she has it in her mouth. I can't get the floor swept fast enough. She loves her food and don't even think about taking it away from her. That is a NoNo!
