I didn't have time to change after working out before I had to pick up Shaylee. So I went to her school to pick her up looking like this. I walked in her room and my daughters mouth dropped wide open. She said, "Mom, I cannot believe you are wearing those shorts. Those are your pajamas and they look disgusting. How embarassing, let's hurry to the car so nobody will see you." I didn't think I looked that bad. I guess I have to worry about not embarassing my five year old. Is it already starting? What am I thinking taking fashion advice from my five year old. She walked down the stairs in this informing me that it is warm outside and she needs to dress accordingly.

Let It Snow
This is what you call a snow day. Yes, we do get off of school for this. I know people in Utah probably laugh at this dusting. Needless to say, my children thought it was so cool and were eating the snow off the trampoline. They were having a blast until Shaylee bounced Blake face first in the snow and then it was no longer fun for Blake. Of course, Shaylee kept bouncing trying to see if he would get used to it after the fifth time his face hit the trampoline. Isn't she so thoughtful?

We just got these adorable pictures taken. Shaylee just absolutely loved getting all dressed up. It was a girls paradise. She got to pick her dress, necklace and hat. What girl wouldn't love playing dress up? Blake, on the other hand, didn't like that he couldn't wear a shirt and especially no shoes. We had to bribe him with ice cream in order for him to just tolerate taking the pictures. Emma could have cared less. Mom was right there next to the photographer making all kinds of funny faces and noises to get these kids to smile. I think he was glad when it was time for us to go, so the crazy mom wasn't making noises right in his ear.

Blake, Emma and I decided to go for a walk since it finally hit 60 degrees today. Blake wanted to put Emma in the little car and she thought she was something. She grabbed right on to the steering wheel and let loose. She was just giggling and turning that wheel. Blake just got a kick out of it and said, "doesn't she know I am pushing her". He thought he was quite the big brother pushing her and making her laugh. He wanted to make sure she knew he was the one helping her. On our walk he kept stopping and walking in front of the car to check her seat belt and to make sure she was still enjoying herself. He is quite the protective brother.

Date Night
Grandma and Papa Moo Moo decided to take "the girls" out on a date. Grandma told them to dress up. Let's just say that Shaylee got really into to it. She had to put on her fancy dress, tights and shoes. Do you think she was done, not on your life. She had to have make-up on to go with her decor. I sat her up on the bathroom sink and let her pick out her eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara. She wanted to color her eyebrows too but I had to put a stop somewhere. Then we picked up her cousin Mackenzie and headed to Springfield to meet the Grandparents. They picked up the girls and set off to Steak and Shake. They let the girls order their own shake and they picked Chocolate Banana. Shaylee said it was soooo good she just could not stop eating it. During the meal Shaylee would look over at Papa and say " You are so good looking" he would laugh then give her a drink of his pop. For those of you who are Mom's know where this is going. She then kept looking over at him to let him know how good looking he was just so she could have more pop. She practically drank the whole cup. I think Papa is a softy. Then since Shaylee realizes she can manipulate Papa she works her Magic. "Papa, I have always wanted a flower and my mom never got me one for Valentine's Day. Isn't that so sad, Papa?" Shaylee said. Papa of course then had to buy the two girls pink roses. They both just thought they were Princesses. Needless to say they are definately spoiled by their grandparents.

Diapers, Diapers, Diapers!!!!!!!
Diapers, Diapers, and Diapers! I feel like all I have done lately is change diapers. Emma has had diarrhea forever. First, it was becuase she was sick then because the antibiotics cause diarrhea. Please no more dirty diapers. Then, I was complaing about it at church and a lady in our ward said, well she should be potty trained by now. (Are you kidding me?!) I guess I am slow on the times, but I think six months is a little too young to be going on the potty. How is she going to get herself there, she doesn't crawl or walk? Anyways, at least Emma loves the diapers.

Dress up Day
Emma wore a hat today, but not for long. Blake and Shaylee had to try it on themselves. They were just getting a kick out of themselves. I think they look pretty darn cute.

Our Poor Lips
Funny Story. The kids and I decided we needed a bedtime snack. I went outside and got popsicles out of our deep freezer. I took a huge bite and Oh No my lips are stuck to the popsicle. They are not just a little stuck, both lips are holding on for dear life. I hurried over to the sink to put water on my mouth when I heard my son start to scream. I looked over with frost bite settling on my lips and saw that Blake's lips were stuck to his popsicle. I had to leave mine stuck on my lips to help pry his popsicle off his. We both leaned under the faucet and proceeded to yank those puppies off. Blake's came off quite easy, but mine had a little bit of convincing. Now we are enjoying our bloody popsicles with the little feeling we have left in our lips. I should have got a picture of this one, but I was more worried about giving my lips some freedom.

Separation Anxiety!
Daniel and I wanted to go out to eat tonight and decided it was time to leave Emma home with the babysitter, considering we would only be gone for one hour. The babysitter came over and immediately Emma started puckering up. It was like she knew we were going to leave her. I put her in her exercise saucer because she loves that, hoping we could make our escape when she becomes occupied by the gadgets on the saucer. Ha ha not so fast mommy. The minute I set her in there and left the room she started whaling hysterically. It broke my heart and I couldn't do it. Needless to say, Emma - 1 point, Mom - o points. She knew how to work her mom and she ended up going with us on our date. I know I am weak I admit it.

So, I can't decide if I like this above the fireplace. I don't know if it is to rustic for the rest of the room, need opinions.

Well, I finally got my piano. I have been looking everywhere for one and I wasn't about to pay the full price for a new one. I found this one in the paper and it looks like has never even been used. I am pretty proud of my find and it fits perfect in our home.

Just another day in the Goodman home. Yes, I got my haircut. I kind of had a bad hair cut and this is the fixer upper. After four inches off I hope this will do for a while since I was trying to grow my hair out. Let's just say good thing hair grows. Of course, there is Shaylee doing her Grandpa pose. I can't get her to ever just stand and take a picture.

Well, we surprised my family and came to Arizona. We didn't tell anyone because my family is no good at keeping secrets. We got there at 1:30a.m. in the morning and knocked on the door. My stomach was all upset because I was so excited to surprise them. I could hardly contain myself on the airplane and Daniel just kept laughing at me. Daniel said, I was like a little kid. My dad came to the door half asleep and we yelled Merry Christmas. It took him a second to register who we were but then the excitement began. Mom, Dad and Jacob couldn't believe we were there. It was a fun surprise and we had a fun Christmas in Arizona.
